Supporting Your Theatre

Many of our audience members have asked us, "How can we become involved in the work you do here at the Vortex?" One way is to join us as individual donors, sort of our silent supporting cast, who help us bring Albuquerque some of the best theater in the Southwest.

We present some of the most-challenging, hardest-hitting, funniest, and best-acted performances you'll find on any stage in New Mexico. Season after season we endeavor to bring you stories distinguished by the power of their language and the depth of their heart and soul. The Vortex does all of this while keeping ticket prices affordable, in the $15 range, with a variety of applicable discounts, a standard $10 student rush offer and a Pay-What-You-Will performance scheduled for every show. Our ticketing policy makes the experience of the performing arts accessible to both new and traditional audiences.

We are always looking for equipment & materials, so if you have something to spare, send it our way! Specifically, we are always in need of:

• Copier: Our ancient machine has given up the ghost and repair costs were too high.
• Tools: We can always use drill bits, hack saws and blades, screws (1'-5"), mat knives, hammers, jig saws & blades, and tape measures.
• Supplies: Glue-gun sticks, masking tape, duct tape, paint, copy & printer paper, and printer supplies.

Other items we can use:

• Fax machine - cleaning supplies
• Extension cords - rope lights
• Laundry or Dry cleaning services
