The Conservator
|
The Conservator by New Mexican playwright Brian Hansen tells the story of an art conservator with a secret. Michaela "Micky" Van Essen, is a wealthy and accomplished fixture of international society. Her opinion is especially valued since she is the doyen of the famous Van Essen family. For decades, the Van Essen name has held a discreet but fascinating place in the history of art forgery. Never proven, always suspected, the Van Essens are welcomed at every elegant gathering.
Tonight, Micky will discover whether her intuition will lead to a big payday -- and solidify her position as the leader of a shadowy (but glamorous) dynasty. Micky is played by Bridget Kelly who has been seen in Last Night at Ballyhoo (Mother Road), Hir (the Vortex) and her own Divining Bernhardt. |
