ABOUT THIS SHOW

Beginning August 9, 2024, the Vortex Theatre in Albuquerque, New Mexico will present God of Carnage written by Yasmina Reza and directed by Marc Comstock. 

​

God of Carnage depicts a meeting between two sets of parents about the injury one couple’s son did to the other’s on the school playground. The initial civilized discussion devolves into a free-for-all which is hilarious, heart-breaking and perhaps a bit too close to our current zeitgeist.

​

Director Comstock says, “I’m thrilled to bring this play with its fascinating, shifting ballet of emotions and loyalties to life at the Vortex with a stunning array of Albuquerque’s best actors.”

​

This show has been double cast and the casts will alternate. A performance schedule will be posted at a later date.
